Almighty God, Father of all mercies, we, thine unworthy servants, do give thee most humble and hearty thanks for all thy goodness and loving-kindness to us, and to all men. We bless thee for our creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life; but above all, for thine inestimable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ; for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory. And, we beseech thee, give us that due sense of all thy mercies, that our hearts may be unfeignedly thankful; and that we show forth thy praise, not only with our lips, but in our lives, by giving up our selves to thy service, and by walking before thee in holiness and righteousness all our days; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom, with thee and the Holy Ghost, be all honour and glory, world without end. Amen.

Upon a recent revelation that I had regarding everything that’s ever found its way through my head,
I think I may have happened across a though that’s got me at a loss for words to describe my revelation.
But in my limited capacity for verbal creativity, suppose words come after all:
Would you lend an ear or would you have to turn it away because you could have sworn you heard your mother call?

Well just sit tight and I’ll set you right. I’ll tell ya my tale and hold you tight all thru the night,
One spoon of sugar may not help it go down, but I gotta tell you how I feel!
The story begins where you and me end. To not hold your tears back would not be a sin,
‘cause what I’ve discovered- the truth now uncovered- .…well buttercup, just buckle in!

it’s funny how things never seem to agree, and the reason for being is seen differently
by different people and the way they perceive their own realities, their own galaxies.
But my mind is mine and if I can’t find a happy thought in there, then baby I can’t fly.
Yours is the sky. I’ll wave goodbye to that neverland, that nevertime.

And, we waltzed, it was fun, now it’s done…and sure baby, maybe I jumped the gun,
But I truly think the reason for our sad expired season goes way beyond what we could understand.
I think for two lonely hearts orbiting the same star, my orbit and yours were just too far apart.
You’re fire, I’m ice..you can’t marry day and night. It’s been that way from the start.

Yours is the sky. I’ll wave goodbye to that neverland, that nevertime.
